    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-time

     

    We are seeking a coordinator to support marketing strategies through digital merchandising, asset management, and social media oversight. Responsibilities include sourcing and managing digital assets for various channels, ensuring usage rights, and creating content for testing strategies. The role also entails assisting with industry tradeshows, supporting HMC marketing efforts, and managing project tasks to align with marketing objectives. 

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties: 

    • Digital Merchandising: Source, create, and manage digital assets for marketing across various channels, including homesandvillasbymarriott.com, Marriott.com, email, social media, affiliate, paid, and public relations. 
    • Digital Asset Management: Oversee image asset flow, secure usage rights from HMC, upload to the DAC enterprise system folder, and collaborate with account management for new assets. 
    • Social Media: Maintain content calendar, scheduling, community management, and reporting. Develop social-first assets for test and learn strategies. 
    • Industry Tradeshows and Events: Assist continent marketing with creative design, promotion, and gifting. 
    • HMC Marketing: Update HMC marketing prioritization and placement tracker. Support continent marketing with HMC onboarding, content review, and tracking. 
    • Project Management: Prepare and organize marketing presentation decks and handle ad hoc administrative requests to advance marketing objectives. 

     

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: Business, Marketing, Communication, Writing/Journalism)  
    • 2+ years’ experience with social media, marketing or communications  
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)  
    • Proficient knowledge with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) 

     

    Competencies: 

    • Digitally-savvy, brand curious and marketing fluent  
    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines 
    • Superior attention to detail  
    • Strong communications skills
