    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Content Project Manager will collaborate with the Content Design team and cross-disciplinary stakeholders to manage design-related projects from conception to delivery. Responsibilities include planning, estimating, coordinating, and monitoring activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope and budget. The role also involves creative asset management support for the Content Marketing team.

     

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Manage new and existing design projects (websites, promotions, social media content, presentations).
    • Plan, estimate, and coordinate project activities.
    • Create project timelines and coordinate resource allocation.
    • Consolidate creative feedback and lead weekly project and prioritization meetings.
    • Monitor and report on project status, ensuring adherence to processes.
    • Support asset management and maintain archiving and taxonomy information.
    • Ensure compliance with Marriott Digital Asset Management standards.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and manage contract submissions.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in communications, marketing, digital media, hospitality management, or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in content-focused project management in an agency or media/publishing environment.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft applications.
    • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Workfront, JIRA).
    • Knowledge of CMS applications and managing metadata.
    • Experience collaborating with development teams (preferred).
    • Experience in travel or hospitality marketing (preferred).

    • Project Management: Establish and manage project workflows for content marketing initiatives.
    • Relationship Management: Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Marketing Intelligence: Understand and apply project management principles and best practices in marketing communications.
    • Financial Management: Assist with project invoicing and financial reviews to maintain budget expectations.
    • Communication: Present ideas and information concisely and effectively.
    • Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all guidelines and standards are met.
