    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

     

    The Director of Data Operations – Marketing Personalization (FLEX) is a key leadership role within the Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Data Operations (SBID) organization. This position focuses on crafting data strategies to enhance targeted marketing and facilitate personalized customer experiences. The Director will drive data requirements for the Marketing & Personalization Acceleration (MAPA) program, utilizing advanced audience data management and identity strategies for revenue growth.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead data relationships and operations for personalization data needs.
    • Implement advanced audience data management, identity, and segmentation strategies.
    • Enhance data platforms, including cloud data warehouses and real-time customer data platform (CDP), for sophisticated marketing personalization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from marketing, digital, and technology organizations.
    • Oversee the development of systems and technologies to reduce manual processes and data quality issues.
    • Manage vendors/technical staff to build infrastructure supporting data & reporting solutions.
    • Provide leadership and expertise in achieving Data Ops goals, contributing to data strategy, and managing transformational strategies for customer & marketing data.
    • Partner with Analytics and IT to build Data Ops, Analytics, and Reporting roadmaps for future years.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar quantitative discipline and Eight or more years of experience demonstrating progressive career growth, or a Master's degree with Six or more years of experience.
    • Experience with design and engineering of complex data flows for audience development using SQL.
    • Knowledge of underlying marketing tech, database technologies, and distributed data stores (e.g., Snowflake, AWS).
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
    • Strong experience in data management, analytics, data warehousing, or marketing technology.

     

    Competencies:

    • Leadership in data strategy and management.
    • Expertise in marketing data and customer analytics infrastructure.
    • Effective stakeholder relationship building and management.
    • Financial acumen to manage expenses and controllable expenses.
    • Strong human resources management skills, including hiring, performance reviews, and fostering employee commitment.
    • Change management and implementation skills, ensuring brand and regional business initiatives are effectively communicated and executed.
