    The Director of Integration, Growth Projects at FLEX is a pivotal role within the Growth and Delivery team. This position is responsible for managing the integration, analysis, and assessment of plans and strategies across multiple projects. The successful candidate will lead the coordination, planning, problem-solving, and implementation efforts to achieve seamless integration and drive business results for various growth opportunities.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Serve as the principal day-to-day point of contact for integration, establishing overall process design, mechanics, and protocols.
    • Accelerate project pace by managing the momentum, pushing for timely decisions, and ensuring accountability for action items and deadlines.
    • Architect success by providing focus on critical aspects, highlighting best practices, and addressing potential disconnects.
    • Drive change by actively engaging in major issues, managing "white space," and coordinating resolutions across all involved parties.



    4-year undergraduate degree and 6+ years' experience in strategy development, consulting, and/or M&A integration planning OR 8+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.



    • Proven ability to advance business direction and strategies.
    • Demonstrated success in delivering results under complex and ambiguous conditions.
    • MBA or equivalent preferred.
    • Collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
    • Proficient in project planning and independent project management.
    • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.


    Core Work Activities:

    Managing Growth Opportunities:

    • Plan and conduct Integration Team Kickoff Meeting, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.
    • Assist in launching functional integration teams, clarifying charters and organizing for success.
    • Brief acquired management team and employees on the integration process and its impact.
    • Escalate senior-level input for quick and effective issue resolution.
    • Manage interdependencies between functions, prioritizing and sequencing activities correctly.
    • Evaluate and mitigate integration risks.
    • Ensure exit criteria are met.
    • Document handoffs to business line leaders at the end of the transition period.
    • Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for future acquisitions.


    Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders:

    • Develop a Day 1 plan for a smooth integration start.
    • Implement an integration progress tracking and reporting process for functional leaders.
    • Create integration plans for each business function (Sales, Operations, IT, Purchasing, HR, Tax, Finance, Legal).
    • Develop a comprehensive communication plan for employees and all stakeholders.
