    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Director of Sports and Entertainment Marketing Partnerships at Marriott International oversees strategic development, planning, and program management for sports and entertainment partnerships. Collaborating with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders, this role drives partner identification, negotiation, and execution, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing partnership value.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead partner development, ideation, negotiation, and asset planning, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and objectives.
    • Drive strategic planning processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing programs.
    • Manage partner relationships, communications, and contract execution, supporting activation across various channels for maximum impact.
    • Develop partnership playbooks in collaboration with cross-functional teams, facilitating partner integration and implementation.
    • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and PR teams to amplify partnership exposure and promote brand engagement.
    • Present partnership marketing plans and updates to senior leadership and relevant teams.
    • Manage designated budgets and provide accurate reporting on partnership performance.
    • Support additional marketing initiatives as needed.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in partnership marketing, media, promotions, or international consumer marketing, with progressive career growth.
    • Experience in global brand and partnership marketing strategy and activation preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively, and balance multiple stakeholder interests.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in budget management and reconciliation.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
