    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

    Duration: Through the end of October

     

    The Director of Marketing Strategy & Analytics supports crucial strategic marketing endeavors, focusing on Return on Marketing Investment, marketing measurement, planning, and budgeting. This role entails orchestrating and implementing initiatives vital for Marriott International's marketing priorities, involving cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and project management to enhance brand impact and business outcomes.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Drive and execute marketing strategic projects, particularly concerning Return on Marketing Investment, marketing planning, and budgeting.
    • Coordinate and plan project initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and successful delivery.
    • Manage intricate stakeholder interactions to foster project success and alignment.
    • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance teams, as well as external partners, on marketing measurement processes and budgeting.
    • Apply strong critical thinking skills to project planning and execution for optimal outcomes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently.
    • Embrace and excel in challenging projects and initiatives willingly.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    • Seven or more years of experience in marketing, strategy, or consultancy roles.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing strategic projects.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting basic analyses using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Alteryx.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Demonstrated capability to drive and implement change initiatives.
