    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

     

    The Director, Revenue Intelligence is a strategic leadership role overseeing the One Yield analytics project. Collaborating with Revenue Management partners and analytics teams, this position drives end-to-end oversight, focusing on boosting global rooms revenue by optimizing areas such as rooms inventory, pricing, segmentation, group bookings, and user systems interactions. The Director provides actionable recommendations based on analytics findings, supporting pricing and mix strategy, and may lead service providers.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead the One Yield analytics project, managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Drive analytical projects to optimize rooms revenue globally, covering areas such as pricing, segmentation, and group bookings.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on analytics findings, including business case support for additional initiatives.
    • Oversee areas like Revenue Management system value, user system interaction accuracy, and retail pricing overrides.
    • Manage priorities across stakeholder groups within the project.
    • Support pricing and mix strategy through insightful analytics.
    • Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, potentially including service providers.
    • Provide clear and concise communication with cross-functional teams to maintain deadlines and achieve performance goals.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth in analytically heavy positions in the travel industry, and a 4-year degree from an accredited university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, operations research, economics, statistics) OR 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
    • Experience evaluating business trends and implementing new strategies to enhance multi-unit business performance.
    • Demonstrated ability to manipulate large amounts of data and translate it into meaningful analysis with actionable outcomes.
    • Proven ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, especially when faced with complexity and ambiguity.

     

    Competencies:

    • Strong project management skills and communication.
    • Master’s degree from an accredited university in a business or quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, operations research, economics, statistics) preferred.
    • Proficient in Tableau, Python, SAS, R, Cognos, or Power BI.
    • Expertise in SQL and Python to develop statistical forecast and other models within a large-scale enterprise data warehouse environment.
    • Knowledge of financial analysis, quantitative analysis, and statistical tools.
    • Lodging/hospitality industry experience across multiple brands.

    • Convey clear and concise communication with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and performance goals.
    • Provide measurement and analytical expertise to projects and initiatives.
    • Develop and execute new plans or programs, generating accurate and timely results.
    • Synthesize complex information into visualizations and presentations for executive decision-making.
    • Support achievement of performance goals, budget goals, and team goals.
