    The Director, Select Brands Strategy, plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand experience for Fairfield, TownePlace Suites, and SpringHill Suites. Collaborating with various departments, this role drives strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering a unique brand experience. Key responsibilities include defining brand strategies, managing brand performance, and overseeing the execution of initiatives to enhance brand differentiation.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Participate in developing a compelling brand strategy, incorporating consumer insights, competitive analysis, and stakeholder needs.
    • Support the creation of strategic brand business plans, including economic strategies, product/service models, positioning, and competitive strategies.
    • Lead initiatives and projects to reinforce brand strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams.
    • Guide project teams from initiation to implementation, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
    • Utilize consumer and market trend data to inform business strategies and initiatives.
    • Act as a Brand Champion, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring brand culture is reflected at all touchpoints.
    • Educate stakeholders on brand strategy, positioning, and competitive landscape.
    • Drive execution of communication strategies to support brand strategies and performance goals.
    • Represent the brand in external forums, refining brand standards and operational practices as needed.
    • Partner with Business Intelligence to identify trends and innovative practices relevant to the brand.
    • Set direction for initiatives to improve brand performance and oversee brand standards review and approval processes.
    • Advocate for customer needs and guide resources to understand target consumer preferences.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams on customer-facing brand communications and collateral development.
    • Liaise with global design teams to execute brand design foundations and uphold design standards.
    • Develop brand promotions to drive revenue and brand visibility efficiently.
    • Lead internal marketing efforts, including associate rallies and culture initiatives.
    • Drive brand experience projects to enhance brand differentiation and preference.
    • Support owner and franchise services to enhance owner satisfaction and drive brand growth.
    • Provide opening support for new hotels, ensuring brand standards are upheld during launch.
    • Offer guidance to opening teams on branded critical path documents for openings and conversions.



    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, with 6+ years of progressive professional experience demonstrating exceptional performance; or 8+ years of relevant professional experience in brand management or related function.
    • Experience in lifestyle branding or operations is preferred.
    • MBA is preferred.

    • Stakeholder management: Strong relationship-building skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate brand strategies and initiatives.

    • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and drive brand initiatives.
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business environments and drive innovation in brand strategies and executions.
