    Lead our dynamic User Experience & Design team in crafting exceptional digital app experiences for a globally renowned hospitality brand. Drive the design of commerce-focused app products, balancing revenue conversion and emotional engagement to achieve business goals. Collaborate closely with UX leaders, product management, and technology teams to meet diverse customer needs.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Design commerce-focused app products, from tactical initiatives to long-term strategies, emphasizing data-driven, best-in-class product design.
    • Drive digital experiences optimizing revenue conversion and emotional engagement.
    • Manage a team of designers, including internal associates and contractors/agencies, overseeing the creative process from concept to execution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of various customer segments, including business, leisure, member, and non-member customers.



    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in digital product design, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
    • Proven experience in designing for iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on transactional experiences and conversion optimization.
    • Strong grounding in industry best practices for commerce checkout processes, product display, and pricing.
    • Proficiency in search rate optimization and step conversion techniques.
    • Demonstrated expertise in search forms, search results, and transactional design best practices.
    • Experience delivering concepts, user journeys, and prototypes across platforms with inclusivity in mind.
    • Familiarity with Agile/SAFE development methodologies preferred.



    • Champion conversion techniques while prioritizing user experience.
    • Deep subject matter expertise in commerce norms and industry standards.
    • Ability to balance user, business, and technical needs effectively.
    • Promotion of UX best practices across disciplines.
    • Innovation in solving challenging user and business problems.
    • Effective communication through compelling visuals and deliverables.


    Core Work Activities:

    • Direct and approve the execution of UX design across the booking funnel, supported by industry best practices and data.
    • Identify future opportunities by staying updated with design trends and emerging technology.
    • Collaborate with various UX disciplines to enhance digital touchpoints.
    • Provide accurate estimates for project timelines and manage multiple tracks of work efficiently.
    • Lead and manage direct reports and external vendors, attracting and retaining top talent.
    • Work independently while knowing when to escalate issues and foster relationships with cross-functional teams.
