    The Global Privacy Manager will support the development and implementation of Marriott’s Data Processing Agreement (DPA) process, enhance Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) practices, and ensure compliance with privacy laws. This role reports to the Director, Global Privacy – PIAs and contributes to various Global Privacy Program projects.


    Role Responsibilities:

    • Manage the daily workflow of the DPA process.
    • Assist in reviewing and executing DPAs.
    • Maintain a comprehensive library of DPAs and related materials.
    • Analyze PIAs, determine the need for DPIAs, and coordinate additional information requests.
    • Develop training materials for contract managers and consult with procurement, legal, and business unit leads.
    • Implement procedures and processes for Marriott’s PIA program, partnering with internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare materials for PIA training and communications.
    • Maintain PIA program resources and documentation.
    • Monitor regulatory changes affecting PIAs, DPIAs, and DPAs, and update procedures accordingly.
    • Prepare governance materials, including metrics, for PIA program updates.
    • Participate in Global Privacy Office initiatives, such as handling individual rights requests and privacy incidents.



    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
    • 3+ years of work experience.
    • Experience in contracts, privacy, or consulting is a plus.
    • Professional certifications (CIPP, PMP) are advantageous.
    • Experience with OneTrust and/or ServiceNow is a plus.
    • Knowledge of international privacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent analytical and project management abilities.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with urgency.
    • Creative and critical thinking problem-solving skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective relationship building.
    • High initiative and good judgment for issue resolution.
    • Experience in managing change.
    • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and leaders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise content management systems.
