    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

    Duration: 12 months

     

    The Business Development Manager will grow the Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy (HVMB) division by identifying, vetting, and onboarding Home Management Companies (HMCs). This role involves contract management, onboarding of HMCs and Connectivity Providers, and achieving unit goals that contribute to team objectives in revenue, booking rate, and customer satisfaction.

     

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Identify and initiate potential HMC partnerships with the Senior Manager.
    • Support development processes: prospecting, pitching, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
    • Onboard new units to meet individual and team goals.
    • Ensure compliance with national, regional, and local laws.
    • Analyze information to solve problems and make decisions.
    • Manage questions and escalations from HMCs/Connectivity Providers.
    • Use and improve existing processes and systems.
    • Maintain accurate reporting and manage initial HMC/Connectivity Provider relationships.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • 3+ years in business/partnership development or hotel industry, with strong performance.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Professional demeanor with confident, independent judgment.
    • Willingness to travel 10%-20%.
    • Preferred: Experience in real estate, home rental development, property management, or OTAs.
