    The Manager, Finance Business Support MPACT will play a crucial role in supporting the overall department through continuous monitoring, measurement, and forecasting of financial performance. Focused on Hotel Openings, Transitions, and Operations Support Resources, this role will provide technical support for reconciliation and analysis, ensuring a full cost recovery business model. Reporting to the Manager, Business Support, the Manager, Finance Business Support MPACT will contribute to maintaining a strong accounting and operational control environment.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Accountable for Department Accounts Payable/Receivable.
    • Generate accurate and timely financial reports, recovery presentations, etc.
    • Manage program billing process and related activities, including contractual agreements.
    • Assist in developing actionable recommendations for business challenges and opportunities in financial/accounting processes.
    • Consistently identify and share opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
    • Complete Month End function each month.
    • Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures.
    • Demonstrate and apply accounting knowledge, including proficiency with P&L statements, operating budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting financial data.



    • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related area.
    • Minimum of 2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Marriott Peoplesoft applications.
    • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience with auditing and reconciliation, recognizing and resolving discrepancies in financial data.
    • Proficient in general Finance and Accounting, bookkeeping procedures, financial systems technology, and general ledger entries.
    • Knowledge of database structures, cash flow statements, and forecasting.
    • Experience working with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including subledger reconciliation and controls.
