    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-time

     

    As a key member of the Global Marketing and Brand team at Marriott International, the Production Design Specialist plays a crucial role in crafting visually stunning collateral designs. This role involves translating creative assets into compelling narratives, platforms, and campaigns that elevate our brands and drive business success. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration and possesses a passion for leveraging modern production approaches to reach diverse audiences.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Develop collateral designs from newly created creative assets.
    • Ensure accurate production of projects, adhering to brand identity standards.
    • Collaborate with creative partners and non-creative team members to achieve project goals.
    • Apply expertise in graphic design and brand identity asset development.
    • Conduct quality control and troubleshoot Art Director layout files.
    • Create mechanical working files from concepts and sketches.
    • Prepare files for web, digital, and print production.
    • Enforce and apply style/brand guidelines consistently.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Five or more years of experience in production or technical design for print.
    • Experience working with production requirements and external vendors.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
    • Understanding of print and digital processes.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn from and handle critique.
    • Required: Five or more years of relevant experience; expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

    • Finalize files and deliver, update, and archive files as necessary.
    • Apply and enforce style/brand guidelines consistently.

    • Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
    • Inform and update leaders on relevant information promptly.
    • Manage time effectively and conduct activities in an organized manner.

    • Use problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up.
    • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.
