    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

    Duration: 12 months

     

    Join our team of I/O Psychologists at Marriott, supporting global talent management programs. Focus on developing and implementing selection assessments, performance management tools, and talent planning solutions across all Marriott brands and continents.

     

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and sustain talent selection tools, including assessments and interview guides.
    • Design and deploy new selection processes and assessment tools based on job analysis.
    • Participate in technology development, testing, and system evaluation.
    • Monitor and respond to assessment-related inquiries.
    • Coordinate data collection, analysis, and develop recommendations and action plans.
    • Provide thought leadership for measuring impact and driving sustainability of practices.
    • Conduct job analysis and transportability studies for assessment tool design.
    • Manage and report on Marriott’s global interview program.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology required; PhD preferred.
    • Experience or coursework in personnel selection, job analysis, competency modeling, change management, performance appraisal, talent planning, survey design, statistical analysis, and employment law.
    • Proficient in MS Office and statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, R).
    • Experience in developing and implementing talent selection tools.
    • Skilled in data analysis and interpretation.
    • Knowledge of assessment and selection program trends, including AI and Machine Learning impacts.

     

    Competencies:

    • Project Management: Ability to manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring goals are met.
    • Data Analysis: Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation to inform decision-making.
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present ideas clearly.
    • Change Management: Experience in leading change management efforts to support new initiatives.
    • Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
    • Innovation: Stay updated on trends and technologies to enhance selection and assessment strategies.
