    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    Join Marriott's Global Design Strategies – Guidelines team as a Program Specialist, where design meets travel. This role involves coordinating documentation, providing feedback on architectural drawings, and contributing to the evolution of brand design guidelines. Ideal candidates blend design expertise with strong project management skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Coordinate documentation and assist in maintaining brand design guidelines.
    • Review architectural drawings for coordination issues and provide feedback for consistency.
    • Collect and manage images for Interior Design Specification Manuals.
    • Transcribe meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
    • Support improvement of processes, focusing on guideline maintenance and change management.
    • Assist in managing team inquiries and representing the department internally and externally.
    • Provide feedback and contribute ideas for project improvement and team processes.
    • Utilize problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    • 1+ years of progressive experience in interior design, architecture, or related field.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and other editing software.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and documents.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and seek assistance when needed.
    • Preferred: Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
    • Preferred: Experience with Adobe Suite, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or SketchUp.

    • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
