    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

    Duration: Covering leave of absence, through end of August

     

    The Program Administration Specialist is responsible for managing programs or portions of programs that span across divisions or the entire company. This role involves providing standard information, answering questions, and offering guidance on administrative procedures related to the programs.

     

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Administer division-wide or company-wide programs.
    • Answer questions and provide standard information about the programs.
    • Offer guidance on administrative procedures related to the programs.
    • Produce and compose routine correspondence or documents pertaining to the programs.
    • Research general questions and problems regarding department policies and procedures.
    • Maintain tracking or reporting systems using software applications.
    • Set priorities and establish procedures for completing daily responsibilities.
    • Collaborate with supervisors to set priorities for projects and assignments.

     

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED; 4 years’ experience as a program specialist or related professional area.
    • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years’ experience as a program specialist or related professional area.
    • Working knowledge of standard administrative processes.
    • Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, or database software.
    • General awareness of regulatory requirements related to the programs administered.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
