    Position type: Full-Time


    Effectively manages development sprints in an agile environment, overseeing planning, execution, and review processes. Leads daily scrums, collaborates on requirement documentation, and resolves barriers to ensure team progress. Guides cross-functional teams and fosters continuous improvement across Marriott's Digital Portfolio, specifically supporting the Mobile Bonvoy App program.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead and support software delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
    • Facilitate scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
    • Ensure adherence to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines within the team.
    • Contribute to advancing Agile practices and collaborate with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters for organizational improvement.
    • Act as a servant leader for the Agile Team, partnering with Product Managers to maintain plans and communicate progress.
    • Proactively identify and resolve impediments, collaborating with peers or escalating as necessary.
    • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Lean and Agile practices to enhance product delivery.
    • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests, optimizing team performance.
    • Drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams through collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Support the development of change management strategies, communications, and training to drive process and tool adoption.



    • Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification.
    • 7+ years of information technology experience, including:4+ years of Agile Delivery experience using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
    • 4+ years of planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams.
    • 4+ years of creating and delivering presentations and project plans.
    • 2+ years of experience with Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Clarity, and/or Cloud-based platforms.
    • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) preferred.
    • SAFe certified – SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master is a plus.
    • Experience with servant leadership as a Scrum Master on an Agile Release Train.
    • Familiarity with product/project development in a technology-focused organization.
    • Ability to align change management strategies with product development/deployments.
    • Strong facilitation skills and ability to influence decision-making at various organizational levels.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
    • Highly proficient with MS Office, Jira, and Confluence or equivalent tools.
