    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    Guiding the Transactional Messaging product teams, the Senior Scrum Master fosters Agile best practices, facilitates daily stand-ups, ensures adherence to the definition of done, manages story points/burndown, and resolves impediments. This role involves coaching cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and other Scrum Masters to enhance decision-making and continuous improvement.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies for Transactional Messaging squads.
    • Guide teams through sprint planning, demos, reviews, and retrospectives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Act as an escalation point for resolving issues and removing impediments within the squads.
    • Maintain agile tools and dashboards for tracking stories, defects, and progress towards commitments.
    • Establish standards and procedures for sprint, feature, and project reporting and documentation.
    • Develop stakeholder and leadership reporting to communicate feature or project status effectively.
    • Provide inputs to value stream roadmaps and validate business cases.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Expertise in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
    • 8+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile coach, with proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies preferred.
    • Agile practitioner mindset with an understanding of common Agile practices and iterative development.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle.
    • CSM certification or equivalent preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification.
    • Demonstrated success supporting large and complex products with highly matrixed teams.
    • Ability to facilitate large ceremonies, speak in front of large audiences, and establish immediate credibility with stakeholders.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of analytical ability.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate employees and foster teamwork.
