    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting audits, and providing guidance on regulations and procedures. This role involves reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and IRS regulations.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Support Monthly Close process and prepare journal entries.
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform internal audits.
    • Provide guidance on regulations and procedures to stakeholders.
    • Collect financial data and prepare accounting entries.
    • Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
    • Verify mathematical accuracy of accounting documents and reports.
    • Code accounting entries and process data through automated systems.
    • Ensure accurate recording and depreciation of assets.
    • Assist in budget process and review financial transactions.

     

    Qualifications:

    • BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • 2+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
    • Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading Spanish preferred.
