    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Senior Director, Advisory Services, is a pivotal role within the Global Innovation Experience Design organization. Primarily focused on Revenue, Technology, Luxury, and Customer Group strategies, this position advises on Marriott's Strategy Map initiatives while offering guidance across the organization on complex platforms and projects. Success demands adept critical thinking, stakeholder management skills, multitasking abilities, and a readiness to tackle challenging projects.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Advise on Marriott Strategy Map initiatives and provide advisory services on complex platforms and projects.
    • Lead strategic initiatives, including those aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and strengthening partnerships.
    • Offer strategic direction and oversee strategic execution.
    • Serve as an Advisor and/or Project Leader on major programs and initiatives.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
    • Analyze information and problem-solve creatively and practically.
    • Review vendor proposals and select suitable vendors for services/technologies/hardware.
    • Generate accurate and timely reports, presentations, etc.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years' experience in strategy development, brand management, marketing strategy, or product management.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field OR 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
    • Proven track record of delivering results under challenging conditions.
    • Experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business units.
    • MBA or equivalent preferred.
    • Preference for lodging/hospitality industry experience.
    • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions.
