    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Part-Time

     

     

    The Change Management Lead is responsible for developing and executing people-focused change management strategies at Marriott, fostering awareness, understanding, engagement, and adoption among associates. This part-time role, based in Bethesda, Maryland, collaborates across departments to facilitate effective change initiatives.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Design and execute change management strategies for key HR initiatives, conducting stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and developing change resources.
    • Collaborate with the communications team to execute engagement strategies and the learning organization to co-create educational plans when needed.
    • Provide support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors in guiding their teams through transitions and sustainment.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects simultaneously, integrating both behavioral and technical change management activities into project plans.
    • Support project teams in fulfilling the role of change sponsor, navigating complex behavioral changes.
    • Build and maintain client-focused partnerships with key stakeholders, including HR COEs, continent teams, and other business leaders.
    • Contribute to an engaging and rewarding work environment for the change management + communications professionals, emphasizing teamwork, flexibility, and high performance.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in Organizational Change Management, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related major.
    • 6 years of relevant professional experience in change management, communications, marketing, or a related function, demonstrating progressive career growth.
    • Strong writing skills with a proven track record of consulting to business leaders and implementing impactful communications in large organizations.
    • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects, including crisis communications, in a global landscape.

    FLEX employees will accrue .03334 hours of paid leave for every hour worked and be eligible to receive minimum of 4 holidays annually.  California based FLEX employees accrue .03462/hour PTO and 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually.
