    The Senior Manager, Intermediary Partner Support – Growth, collaborates with the Senior Director, Intermediary Partner Support, overseeing strategic growth initiatives and special projects focused on Marriott’s Intermediary Partner programs and centralized Intermediary Compensation system, driving topline revenue to hotels. Key responsibilities include project management, new brand/hotel activation, and communications, training, marketing/sales, and compensation program management.


    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Project management.
    • Lead New Brand/Hotel Activation for the Intermediary Partner Support team.
    • Communications, Training, Marketing/Sales, and Compensation Program Management and subject matter expertise.
    • Qualifications: Education and Experience Required:
    • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major, with 4+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance; OR
    • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
    • Skilled Project Manager.



    Skills and Experience Preferred:

    • Strong process, project management, negotiating, influencing, and problem resolution skills.
    • Experience with large technology initiatives and processes, strong technical aptitude, and analytic skills.
    • Experience defining User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and validating results for large multi-system projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Experience leading multiple initiatives with diverse audiences.
    • Experience with Marriott’s Reservation, Property Management, and/or Sales Systems.
    • Hotel/market or intermediary segment experience and/or knowledge.
    • Experience with Marriott’s brands, brand strategies, cultures, philosophies, and initiatives.
    • Ability to manage and support multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to present to large and executive-level audiences.
    • Ability to work effectively in a large, complex organization; politically savvy.
    • Embraces and adjusts to change.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team; adept at incorporating new information and viewpoints.

    Managing Projects:

    • Plans and leads projects, delivering on time and on budget, including oversight of costs, schedule, deliverables, and business goals.
    • Manages project risks and develops mitigation strategies.
    • Coordinates activities pertaining to projects/initiatives impacting the Intermediary Partner Support team.
    • Acts as a liaison between technology resources and business units, determining requirements and prioritization.
    • Interfaces with key internal and external stakeholders to drive project goals.
    • Establishes and tracks performance criteria for project stakeholders.
    • Ensures change management/communication is incorporated into the project plan.


    New Brand/Hotel Activation:

    • Participates in cross-functional implementation teams to outline plans and lead efforts for integrating new brands into Marriott’s Intermediary programs.
    • Coordinates implementation and transition of new hotel growth with all Intermediary programs and support desks.
    • Oversees aspects of brand/hotel conversion process to Marriott’s centralized intermediary compensation system.
    • Provides guidance and support to hotel openings teams on intermediary-related processes.
    • Collaborates on defining, designing, and implementing processes and system enhancements.
    • Works with Global Technology partners on technical integration and activation into Marriott’s centralized intermediary compensation system.
