    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Senior Manager, Revenue Analytics, is responsible for providing insights into hotel revenue performance trends, forecasts, and their drivers. They will oversee ad hoc projects, produce regular reporting, and contribute to a comprehensive global perspective on Marriott's hotel health. Additionally, they will lead analytical initiatives to understand and enhance revenue growth across global properties, including analysis of rooms inventory, pricing, segmentation, group bookings, and user interactions.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Provide insights into hotel revenue performance trends, forecasts, and drivers.
    • Lead ad hoc projects and produce monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis.
    • Analyze rooms inventory, pricing, segmentation, group bookings, and user system interactions.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and manage project aspects such as data sources and timelines.
    • Conduct rigorous business and statistical analyses to derive actionable insights.
    • Develop and implement effective project plans.
    • Manage and define transformational strategies for business units.
    • Deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly in complex and ambiguous situations.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis, financial analysis, revenue management analysis, or pricing strategies, with a 4-year degree from an accredited university in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or quantitative discipline, OR
    • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in related functions, demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
    • Advanced degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or quantitative discipline preferred.
    • Experience analyzing large data sets and assessing analysis needs of stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, R, and Microsoft Office.
    • Experience in structuring analysis, synthesizing insights, and producing visualizations.
    • Knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques.

    • Use problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up.
