    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    The Senior Manager of Select Brand Social Marketing is instrumental in devising strategies, setting key performance indicators, and executing social media and content marketing endeavors for Marriott Select Brands, spanning from distinctive to classic brands with a focus on classic select. Collaborating closely with Content Marketing and Brand Marketing teams, this role drives strategy and implementation across various social media platforms and content tactics to achieve brand and content objectives.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Develops and prioritizes strategies for social and content marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, influencer programs, and brand website initiatives.
    • Executes social strategies to support brand campaigns, initiatives, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with overarching brand goals.
    • Oversees the editorial calendar for all paid and organic content across social brand channels, fostering engagement and consistency in messaging.
    • Leads the development of program social strategy documents, including content strategy, influencer strategy, and social tone/voice/design.
    • Manages content creation and distribution strategy, collaborating with internal teams and agencies for effective execution.
    • Drives social innovation and spearheads special projects to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
    • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop creative content for various initiatives, campaigns, and crisis communication.
    • Provides expertise and support in social marketing performance analysis and reporting, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field from an accredited university.
    • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing, demonstrating exceptional performance.
    • Proficiency in defining and managing social strategies, with hands-on experience in social media monitoring, management, content creation, and advertising.
    • Strong understanding of social marketing trends and industry best practices.
    • Experience in managing social media influencer programs and executing paid social/digital marketing campaigns.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect emerging social media trends with brand strategies and tactics.
    • Proven track record of success in a highly matrixed cross-functional organization.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and persuasively.
