    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    Join Marriott International's Strategy, Business intelligence, and Data Operations (SBID) organization as a Sr. Program Specialist, Communications. Develop and support communication deliverables, oversee the Data Platform vision refresh, coordinate departmental roadshows, and manage new business branding and related assets. Collaborate with SBID teams and other Marriott functions to ensure effective communication and alignment.

     

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Strategy, Business intelligence, and Data Operations (SBID) and Global Technology to coordinate the Data Platform vision refresh.
    • Develop Business Intelligence branding and related assets.
    • Update Marriott knowledge management pages with refreshed branding and key links.
    • Coordinate and plan the Strategy, Business intelligence, and Data Operations (SBID) roadshow, delivering materials and addressing questions.
    • Advise and collaborate with teams on large-scale cross-SBID projects.
    • Inform, update, and provide information to supervisors and co-workers via various communication channels.
    • Attend and participate in relevant meetings.
    • Present ideas and information concisely and organized.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major; or 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
    • Graduate degree (MS/MBA) in Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
    • Experience in marketing and branding.
    • Hospitality or lodging industry experience.
    • Knowledge in change management and business transformation.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational, project, and budget management skills.
