    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    Oversee the successful delivery of HR technical projects within Marriott, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead and coordinate HR technology projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
    • Direct project teams and manage resources effectively, including other project managers.
    • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to align project objectives.
    • Develop high-level business requirements and cost estimates for project justification.
    • Establish project milestones, deliverables, and tasks, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • Implement standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
    • Manage project risks, issues, action items, and decisions.
    • Collaborate with vendors for project implementation and support.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification.
    • 5-7+ years’ experience in information technology project management across diverse application areas and technologies.
    • 5-7+ years’ experience in leading project teams and implementing enterprise application packages in distributed environments.
    • 5-7+ years creating and delivering presentations, PowerPoint decks, and project plans.

     

    Competencies:

    • Project Management Certification preferred.
    • Demonstrated record of managing internal and external projects from inception to successful implementation.
    • Solid understanding of current technologies with the ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies.
    • Ability to align change management strategies with projects.
    • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
    • Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex issues.
    • Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate employees.
    • Experience with Oracle HCM implementations or technical projects.
    • 2+ years working with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).
    • 2+ years working with Cloud-based platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
    • 7+ years' experience with value stream delivery and Agile Ways of Working (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional project lifecycle requirements (SAFE/Agile and Waterfall).
