    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time

     

    Join Marriott's HR team for the US and Canada continent as a Talent Analytics Specialist, driving data-driven decisions and shaping the future of human capital management. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics and data visualization tools to support key initiatives impacting managed and franchise properties.  

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Partner with stakeholders to support data efforts through advanced analytics, custom applications, and strategic analysis.
    • Develop analytics products with a focus on elegant design and usability for diverse users.
    • Measure effectiveness of human resources efforts and propose analytical techniques for measuring effectiveness.
    • Adapt and utilize various tools to accomplish key tasks, explaining complex analytics to a broad audience.
    • Support data governance activities and best practices, conducting deep dive analytics on user adoption and behavior.
    • Define technical standards for talent analytics and reporting.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or quantitative discipline, with 1+ years of relevant professional experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
    • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle DV is preferred.
    • Interest in growing a career in talent/people analytics, with a strong desire to learn new technologies and coding languages.
    • Ability to analyze human resources data, develop simple data models, and synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
    • Strong knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques.
