JOB SUMMARY
NOTE: This is a FLEX Associate Engagement
Position type: Full-time
This role is responsible for designing commerce-driven app products with a strong emphasis on data-driven, best-in-class design. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting digital experiences that boost revenue conversion and emotional engagement, collaborating closely with UX, product, and tech teams to meet customer needs. A compelling portfolio demonstrating expertise in iOS and Android design, especially in conversion optimization, simplicity, and usability, is essential.
Role Responsibilities/Duties:
- Lead the end-to-end design of commerce-centric app products, spanning from short-term tactical enhancements to long-term strategic vision
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address the needs of diverse customer segments encompassing business, leisure, members, and non-members
- Continually assess and improve product designs by staying attuned to industry trends
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital product design
- 4-year undergraduate degree, with bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- Experience designing for iOS and Android devices
- Proven experience with commerce checkout processes including understanding of best practices for displaying product and pricing
- Strong grounding in search forms, search results, general usability and transactional design best practices
- Proven experience delivering concepts, user journeys, prototypes, etc. across platforms (desktop, mobile web, app, etc.)
Competencies:
- Experience in multiple of the following user experience disciplines: interaction design and visual design
- Strong grounding in general usability and transactional design best practices
- Well versed in industry best practices for increasing search rate and step conversion
