    JOB SUMMARY

    NOTE:  This is a FLEX Associate Engagement  

    Position type: Full-Time 

     

    The Senior Director of Integration at FLEX plays a pivotal role within the Growth and Delivery team, overseeing the integration, analysis, and assessment of plans and strategies across multiple projects. As a key member, the Senior Director will coordinate, plan, problem-solve, and implement requirements to achieve seamless integration and drive business results for various growth opportunities.

     

    Role Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Serve as the principal day-to-day point of contact and thought leader for all integration-related matters.
    • Establish the overall integration process design, mechanics, and protocols for participants and executives.
    • Accelerate the integration process by managing pace, momentum, and pushing for timely decisions.
    • Provide true accountability for action items and deadlines.
    • Architect success by focusing on critical aspects and highlighting best practices.
    • Drive change by actively engaging in major issues, managing "white space," and coordinating resolutions.

     

    Managing Growth Opportunities:

    • Plan and conduct the Integration Team Kickoff Meeting for clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
    • Assist in launching functional integration teams, ensuring clarity of charters and organization for success.
    • Brief acquired management team and employees on the integration process and its impact.
    • Escalate senior-level input for quick and effective issue resolution.
    • Manage interdependencies between functions, prioritizing and sequencing activities correctly.
    • Evaluate and mitigate integration risks.
    • Ensure exit criteria are met.
    • Document handoffs to business line leaders at the end of the transition period.
    • Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for future acquisitions.

     

    Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders:

    • Develop and execute Day 1 plan for smooth integration, including:
    • Integration progress tracking and reporting process for functional leaders.
    • Integration plan for each business function (Sales, Operations, IT, Purchasing, HR, Tax, Finance, Legal, etc.).
    • Communication plan for all stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, partners, recruits, communities, etc.).

     

    Providing Technical Support and Consultation:

    • Offer technical expertise and leadership within own and other teams.
    • Provide recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of processes and programs.
    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
    • Apply knowledge and judgment to achieve business goals.
    • Foresee, identify, and resolve problems.
    • Stay up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to the job.
    • Perform other reasonable duties as required for this position.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4-year undergraduate degree and 8+ years' experience in strategy development, consulting, and/or development roles with hands-on M&A Integration planning, execution, and risk experience OR 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.

     

    Competencies:

    • Proven track record of advancing business direction and strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, especially in complex and ambiguous situations.
    • MBA or equivalent preferred.
    • Collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
    • Proficient in developing and independently managing project plans.
    • Effective communication across all organizational levels.
