UXL Platform Team: Delivery Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Delivery Manager & Scrum Master to join our Marriott team. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate seamless software releases and enhance communication within our GraphQL API team. Your efforts will directly impact the digital experience for our global guests and improve the engineering process for Marriott associates.

Role Responsibilities/Duties:

• Coordinate software releases, manage paperwork, and liaise with teams to ensure efficient bi-monthly releases.
• Facilitate late evening calls for releases and provide comprehensive reports to the team.
• Support the UXL Platform Team by coordinating tasks, fostering clear communication among diverse teams, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain a meticulous focus while managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Prioritize initiatives effectively, engaging with diverse teams to ensure uninterrupted project flow.
• Utilize MS Office, Jira, and other cloud-based project management tools adeptly.
• Uphold Agile principles and SCRUM methodology, ensuring teams adhere to best practices.
• Enhance technical teams’ release cycle process through effective support and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and other cloud-based project management tools.
• Understanding of the Agile process and SCRUM methodology
• 3+ years of experience in a support capacity for technical teams.
• Experience working with DevOps team/knowledge of DevOps

Competencies:

• Experience in supporting technology teams' release cycles, preferably utilizing tools like Service Now.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, communication, or computer science (preferred).
• Familiarity with APIs, Servers, or GraphQL concepts.
