JOB SUMMARY

Position type: Full-Time
We're seeking a Hospitality Design Project Manager to drive owner and brand preference through guest-focused design with owner-focused results. In this role, you'll oversee design quality assurance and interior design management services for new construction and renovations, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and standards.
Role Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist in TRIP (Temporary Renovation Investment Program) by conducting property virtual walkthroughs and creating tailored property scopes of work.
- Represent the renovation team internally and externally to ensure compliance with renovation/TRIP standards.
- Apply design talent to problem-solving exercises to achieve cost-efficient results aligned with renovation standards and brand strategy.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines to integrate relevant input in project scope reviews.
- Coordinate review/approval of variances from TRIP standards requested by owners due to specific project circumstances.
- Track and maintain project data and milestones using database tools.
- Maintain clear communication with all department management levels and advise/consult on sensitive owner or scope project issues.
- Report to Senior Managers/Directors for policy guidance, methods, and systems support matters.
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment as a collaborative team member.
- Strong interior design skill, architectural design acumen, and project management skills.
- Knowledgeable about innovation and design trends within hospitality and related fields.
- Good business judgment and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in conceptual design/freehand sketching and/or digital presentation.
- Ability to balance projects with other business demands, sometimes administrative in nature.
- Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and project management software. Skills in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Sketchup are desired but not required.

Education/Experience:
- 4-year degree from an accredited interior design program preferred.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the design field, preferably in hospitality design.
- NCIDQ certificate preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Potential travel in US/Canada – 25% travel is anticipated for this position
