JOB SUMMARY
NOTE: This is a FLEX Associate Engagement
Position type: Full-Time
Responsible for ensuring the timely execution of all functions within the Security Engagement Review (SER) Process. As a pivotal member of the Security Architecture and Strategy (SA) team, this role involves coordinating engagements, overseeing SER progress, addressing challenges, and facilitating collaboration with external teams. Additionally, the Coordinator will be instrumental in presenting SER processes to diverse audiences, managing small projects, and possessing a proficiency in conveying fundamental security concepts.
Role Responsibilities/Duties:
- Coordinate Security Engagement Review (SER) Process activities within the Security Architecture and Strategy (SA) team.
- Verify progression of SERs, identify impediments, and provide solutions to ensure completion.
- Collaborate with external teams to collect requisite information for SER completion, offering guidance throughout the process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to SERs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of Information Technology experience in a large organization.
- Proficiency in reviewing Security Architectures and articulating security risks and mitigation strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills essential; project management experience preferred.
Competencies:
- Proficient in IT service management principles (e.g., ITIL-related disciplines).
- Effective communicator of Security Requirements across various domains to diverse audiences.
- Skilled in creating and delivering presentations, particularly to C-level executives.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and project prioritization skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct independent research.
- Experience working with diverse, globally distributed teams.
Core Work Activities:
- Contribute to, evaluate, and support documentation and validation processes to ensure compliance with information assurance, security, and privacy requirements.
- Consult with customers to gather functional requirements and provide input to the Security Architect team.
- Provide advice and recommendations on relevant topics within the subject domain to leadership and staff.
- Monitor project activities and intake of new projects in collaboration with Security Architect Analysts to meet team objectives.
- Develop and execute goals, plans, and strategies to prioritize and accomplish work.
- Provide guidance and direction to teams regarding project priorities and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, understanding their needs and priorities.
- Offer recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of processes and programs.
- Perform other duties as required for the position.
